Aberdeen-based agency EQ Design commissioned me to write web copy as part of a corporate identity created for Strategic Decom.
The company, launched in May 2014, helps clients optimise the timing and scope of their decommissioning operations.
With the directors all recognised end-of-field-life specialists, the task was to ensure the new brand identity built on existing goodwill and familiarity in the market.
What’s more, this project was essentially a rebrand of the decommissioning sector: challenging perceptions and explaining the opportunities that exist for the brightest and most creative minds.
The web copy, which was used as the basis for all collateral, explains the industry context, what Strategic Decom offers, and the benefits of working with the organisation: primarily ensuring the best outcome in terms of safety, cost, environmental and societal impact.
